One in four people will experience a mental health problem every year. We run housing opportunities for people with mental health needs, and support people with dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse, alongside people requiring respite care or with physical disabilities.

Our services tailor accommodation requirements based on specific and individual needs. These are assessed on application to LAC Homes and individual health care plans put in place to support. These include a range of services offered in the local community to support recovery.

Life events can cause a range of mental health issues for both adults and children. Individual needs for people as to support required can be compounded by moving into a new home as a single person or due to separation or work relocation. Organising rent, utilities and council tax is extremely time consuming and can take weeks if not months to get right. Then there’s the cost of furniture and white goods. When struggling with physical or mental issues, this can be an overwhelming experience.

Here at LAC Homes, we take the stress out of these situations, arranging for it all for the individual. Individual health care plans are formulated after an initial assessment, and monitored and reviewed regularly, to ensure the best support for those under LAC Homes care.
